I have a great passion for working with children and young teens and for three summers, counselled at two Christian-based facilities: Muskoka Woods CITYCAMP – a GTA day camp, and Camp Widjiitiwin – a Huntsvillle ‘over night’ camp. I also completed a lengthy placement at a Toronto after-school drop in program. I am thrilled to be coming back to Huron Feathers for a second summer. I will always treasure my Huron Feathers’ experiences at Sauble Beach!

I am super excited to be back for another summer on staff at Huron Feathers. I grew up coming to Sauble Beach with my family and attended the youth program as a teenager. My time in the youth program at HF were the best summers. I have a passion for impacting youth with the love of Christ and have been studying Youth Ministry at Redeemer University College. My hope for the summer is to foster the same welcoming atmosphere that I experienced, reconnecting with old beach friends, and establishing new friendships.

Summer of 2008 was one of my favourites! I got to spend it with Huron Feathers at Sauble Beach, making friends who have become family, soaking in God’s goodness. I’m super excited to be back at Sauble for the whole summer. I love camp, I love taking naps on the beach, and I love getting to hang out with some of the best kids out there. When not at the beach, I live in Hamilton and attend Eucharist Church, I work for a landscaping company, and I spend my free time hanging out with a hilarious little parrot named Skipper.
